Ahhhhh, nothing like playing outside

Ahhhhh, nothing like playing outside and watching college students in oversize sumo gear! As Stimp said in the previous journal, we just finished playing at Caz College and it was a good time. I ate what I think was a Mcrib sandwich???? Anyways, the weather held out for us. Thankyou for purchasing the CD and remember to tell friends....especially the ones that are responsible for booking the bands!

We just got back from

We just got back from the show at Cazenovia College. The outdoor shows in the summer are always a lot of fun once we master the art of suntan application. Thanks to everyone who played tambourine, you kept the band together this afternoon. Rick and I had a ROCKY I flashback in the inflatable boxing ring with these huge 15lb. gloves. I personally think I kicked his ass but I'm sure he will beg to differ. See you this Friday at The Woodshed up in Oswego, the show was just added so it's not on the schedule on the webpage yet.

The gang, Chris and I

The gang, Chris and I were in Saratoga this weekend to catch Pearl Jam. Excellent concert. Eddie Vedder's ukulele solo was inspiring! Very cool show and we even got to gamble on the horses in Saratoga. Catch you later!

When you drink a large

When you drink a large coffee from Dunkin' Donuts at 2 AM, you write into the web log. We just got back from a gig at Dameaon College in Buffalo. We got into a weird discussion. Does anyone remember when the Star Wars action figures hands would hold the gun at a 90 degree angle from their body? No matter how hard you tried to bend the gun in the right direction it just slowly flexed back. Chris Cox brought up a good point...Luke had a lightsaber imbedded in his arm...no gun...he never used a lightsaber in the first movie(except for the remote droid). What can I say, too much time to talk and too much sugar in the coffee!

Started working on a couple

Started working on a couple of new originals last night in practice, could be the beginning of something good. We'll have to wait and see what comes of them. We also have been soliciting a lot of out of town clubs in the past few weeks, if anyone can think of new places to play let us know. We want to work our way into Albany, Rochester, and Buffalo. I'll keep calling them back, someone will crack eventually. Our friends The Rigby's have a new cd coming out next month, the cd release will be held down at Mully's in Syracuse on Saturday, September 9th. That's all for now.....

We just got back from

We just got back from Yesterday's Royal at Sylvan Beach where we got the full use of the wig wardrobe. It seems like we're getting back later and later from these shows. Of course, the stop for a healthy snack at the Quickfill in Sylvan Beach after the show didn't help. We've come to the consensus that any pizza at 3am is good pizza, that's your lesson for the day. Late night = good pizza.
Rick's bachelor party is tomorrow so it should be a fun night out on the town. Ter bought him another huge foam cowboy hat to wear that looks like the hats we had on Halloween at Spanky's a few years back. Poor Rick looks like he's going to tip over in it. Should be fun tonight, time to sleep. We have a couple of weeks off to enjoy the rest of the summer, see you in September.

I just wanted to post

I just wanted to post and let everyone know that I fixed the problems with the Real Audio songs. So, if you tried to listen to any of the songs in Real Audio, and it didn't work, it was my fault, not yours. And it should work now. If you don't know what the heck I'm talking about, go here and check it out. Peace out.

Had a great time this

Had a great time this weekend. Highlight of the weekend - Rick played with his shirt off at Stacy's Party. Thanks to Jerry and Jeff for feeding us and showing us a good time this afternoon at Brownfest 2000. It was good to play with the band Saturday night after Joe's treck across the country with Jeanne and Noah. Ter and I got pimp hats out of their journey and Rick got a fancy mug.

We just want to thank

We just want to thank our long time fan Gerry Brown for his unwavering support. We had the pleasure of playing the very first annual Brown Fest Sunday afternoon. We all had a good time and we held an impromptu jam session after the "official" gig. Lots 'o fun. Gerry's mom makes some good brownies!
