Last Friday was a lot

Last Friday was a lot of fun to play out some of the originals at Bridge Street Music Hall. We played a lot of old favorites as well as a few of the new ones. Our newest song "last day of summer" went pretty well given that it was it's first test drive in public. It handled smooth like a BMW. We are having the secret meeting with our web master Kim at the beginning of next week to overhaul the page. If there are any ideas you have or things you think are missing or would like to see..email us at theband@supergush.com and let us know. We are practicing tonight to get ready for the shows next week. Friday night we plug it in for our sixth birthday at Rosie O'Grady's. Get there early and bring the noise makers. No cards or cakes please, just cash. :-) Saturday should be a lot of fun at Happy Endings playing all of our songs acoustic. If you have songs you want to hear, email us with you ideas. We're still working on the set up of how we are going to set the mood for the intimate show. We were thinking of wearing our swimsuits, we'll see.

Very excited about this Friday!!!

Very excited about this Friday!!! Bridge Street Music Hall is a great set up for live bands. I have to fly in from Boston just before the show so I'll be landing about an hour before I'm supposed to go on. Hopefully no plane delays.... Looking forward to playing our newest original which will be played for the first time live on Friday. If your a regular you'll pick it out right away. Anyways, if you haven't heard.... THIS IS OUR YEAR BABY!!! Hope to see everyone on Friday. Rick

Friday we celebrated Mark Bullis'

Friday we celebrated Mark Bullis' birthday down at the Bull & Bear with Mark, Irish Mike and the gang. Mike finished off the evening with a wonderful rendition of BUST A MOVE for everyone. The kid has talent! Last Tuesday the new CD got it's latest push from Mark Bialczak at the Post Standard featuring us on the front of the CNY section. Old school picture from Bud's back in the day but the write up was cool. Check it out from the link I posted below. If any of you have pictures out there that we could use on the webpage please email them over to us. Or better yet, if you have a digital camera bring it to the shows and become part of our new program: supergush photos for T-Shirts. Anyone who emails us a photo that we can use on the webpage will be rewarded with a supergush T-Shirt. It's kind of like the "toys for tots" program but you get something back other than warm and fuzzies. This week we will be getting ready for the show at Bridge Street with our old friends Red Light District and Starcase. We have not played a show with RLD in over 4 years. It's nice to see another band still doing it this many years later. So many bands come and go. We played a show with Starcase at Bridge street back in January and they are a must see as well. If you have ideas for the setlist email us at the band email address theband@supergush.com . We will be playing an all original show with a couple of our newest songs in the rotation that have not been played out yet. Yet another reason to come out and check it out!!!!! See you soon!
